A transgender teen’s post-op recovery is derailed when he is bitten by a werewolf and his body begins to change. A thought-provoking page-turner that will haunt you for days!

Hunter would have started taking puberty suppressing drugs years ago, but his father wasn't sure. Wasn't sure if Hunter really knew what he wanted. Hunter, knew though. Hunter is trans, whether or not anyone believes it, and now, 18, he finally got his top surgery.

Home and happily recouperating, he's determined to heal. Perfectly. Only to be attacked by an enormous creature in his back yard.

The encounter should have killed him, but his best friend Gabe was able to intervene, and one hockey stick down, Hunter walked away. Only he doesn't feel right. His surgery is healing fine, but now his teeth are falling out. And his body is changing is strange ways.

Enter Hunter's other best friend, Mars. Mars knows movies and according to her research, all signs point to one end. Hunter is turning into a werewolf. And anyone who knows anything about werewolves knows that Hunter must find the creature that bit him in order to save himself from the same fate.

But how do three kids face down a monster? And, what are the feelings he's realizing he feels for both Gabe and Mars? Nothing makes sense anymore, and as the clock ticks down, he's starting to wonder, would it be better to just become the monster? Or should he face the possible massacre of all of his friends to save himself.
